Neil Adams: Warrior Silent Soaring Eagle in the Grey Moonlight. Neil became a Brave during 1st session in 1997 at Sawmill. He was elevated to the rank of a mighty Warrior during 4th session in 1998 at Lone Star. He has camped at the Bartle Reservation for 5 years. Neil is a 16-year-old junior at Blue Springs High School where he plays football. He is a member of Troop 813 out of Blue Springs, MO. He is a Life Scout who is hoping to soon complete his Eagle requirements. Neil hopes to return to the reservation next summer and accept additional responsiblity in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Ralph Burkhart: Warrior Screaming Diving Hawk. Ralph became a member of the Tribe in 1959. He camped at Osceola from 1958 to 1961. He was a member of Troop 101 in Kansas City, although he lived in Raytown, MO where he graduated from high school in 1963. It was in this Troop that he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1961--having had the honor of receiving the award from H. Roe Bartle himself. Ralph later obtained a BS at SUNY-Albany NY and a MSM from Purdue University. Currently, Ralph is an Information Technologist and Program Manager with Draper Laboratory in Cambridge MA. Draper is a spin-off lab of the MIT University and is chartered to perform research and development in the national interest. Prior to his current job, Ralph spent 25 years on active duty with the US Army as a Commissioned Officer. His service took him all over the world, causing him to miss the activities of Mic-O-Say. In 1988, while serving at Fort Leavenworth, he was able to attend his first Tribal Feast in over 25 years.
John Pierce "J.P." Cummins: Warrior Son of Loon Spry Turtle. J.P. became a Brave in the Tribe during 5th session of 1997. He advanced to the rank of a mighty Warrior during 4th session in 1998. He is a Life Scout in Troop 235 out of Springfield, MO. He first joined Scouting Program in Cub Scouts. J.P. has camped at Piercing Arrow every summer since 1994. He currently serves as Troop Historian and also acts as cheer master at campouts. J.P. is an enthusiastic Tribesman and Scout. He anxiously awaits returning to the Bartle Reservation. Kevin Davenport: Warrior Littlest Swift Growing Wheat. Kevin became a Brave during 1st session in 1997 while camping at Piercing Arrow. He returned to Piercing Arrow during 3rd session in 1998 and achieved the rank of Warrior. He has camped at the Bartle Reservation for 5 years. Kevin is an Eagle Scout in Troop 332 out of Blue Springs, MO. He earned the 50 miler afoot afloat patch and the coup of the long trail at Packard High Adventure Base. Kenny Davis: Warrior Shadow of Little Great Soaring Blackhawk. Kenny earned his Brave 5th session at the Bartle Scout Resevation in 1996, and advanced to the rank of Warrior in 1997. He is an Eagle Scout. He has camped at Bartle 2 years in Webelos and 4 years in Boy Scouts. Kenny enjoys both Scouting and baseball. Joey Freeland: Warrior Little Watcher Of Free Land. Joey became a Brave in the Tribe during 6th session of 1999 in Camp Piercing Arrow. He is an active member of Troop 88 out of Kansas City, MO and has held almost every leadership position. Joey is 16 years old and an Eagle Scout with a Silver Palm. Edgar G. Gall: Warrior Stalking Silver Panther. Edgar entered the Tribe in the early 1980's (probably 80 or 81). He now lives in St. Louis, where he works as a CPA for Pritchard Osborne, LLC. His 3 sons, are active in BSA in St Louis. He is somewhat disappointed that they are in Order of the Arrow, and don't have the opportunity to join Mic-O-Say. He faithfully wears his claws to every Scouting event (he says you never know when a Runner might be looking, and come and carry him to the closest pool). After graduating from Lee's Summit High School and leaving Troop 42 as a Life Scout, he attended St.Louis University where he completed a BS in Accounting, with a minor in Computer Science in 5/87. He is currently trying to get his oldest son to finish his Eagle before he turns 18.
Edgar's father, E. Dean Gall, is Hononary Warrior Great Stalking Silver Panther. He retired as President of UMB Bank in Indepencence MO, and is residing in Lee's Summit. Edgar's older brother, Dean A. Gall, is Honorary Warrior Big Stalking Silver Panther, living in Lee's Summit and was a leader in Troop 220. He has two sons--one completed his Eagle. Edgar's younger brother, Michael J. Gall, is Warrior Little Stalking Silver Panther from Troop 42. He is completing his law degree at Marquette University. Paul Goebel: Warrior Little Howling North Wind. Paul camped at Frontier from 1964-1967. He became a Brave in 1966 and a Warrior in 1967. He earned his Eagle in October 1967. He was a cub in Pack 421 in KCM0, and then a scout in Troop 428, KCMO. Big Tom Lytle served as his Scoutmaster. Paul is currently working with Troop 80, in the Jayhawk Council. His Troop meets in Meriden, KS, between Lake Perry and Topeka. He serves as Assistant Scoutmaster and works with the program patrol. Paul specializes in backpacking and hiking. He attended Philmont in 1996. His son Joe just joined the Troop, after earning the Arrow of Light. Paul looks forward to the fun ahead with his son. Paul earned his Woodbage beads in the fall of 1998(C-14-97). He joined the staff on the Merit Badge Midway last summer at A.P.Hill. Kevin R. Ham, D.D.S., M.D.: Warrior Little Sudden Thunder. Kevin was a member of Pack 173, Troop 173, and Post 173 at Gudgell Park R.L.D.S. church in Independence from 1958-1968. He camped at "Camp Osceola" from 1962 (camp Sawmill) until 1966 (at then camp Wigwam). He was called to become a Brave in 1964, and became a Warrior in 1965. He also earned his Eagle Rank in 1965. His father, Honorary Warrior Sudden Thunder, is also a member of the Tribe. Kevin was Active in Alpha Phi Omega at Graceland College, Lamoni,IA and graduated with B.A. in Biology in 1973. He graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1979 and University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1982. He completed Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (ear, nose & throat) residency at University of Illinois Eye & Ear Infirmary, Chicago IL in 1987 and was board certified the same year. Kevin is currently practicing at Ozark Ear Nose & Throat Associates in Poplar Bluff, MO. He is active on the committee of Troop 4166, Greater St. Louis Area Council. He has three sons all active at various levels of scouting who will attend Bartle, and will hopefully someday be called into the Tribe.
Paul Hinterleitner: Warrior Little Spotted Dragonfly. Paul became a member of the Tribe in the bi-centennial year of 1976. He camped at Wigwam throughout the 1970's. He was a member of Troop 254 out of Raytown, MO, which has since folded. It was in this Troop that he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with 4 palms. Paul retired a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force in Aug 2001 after 20 years of faithful service; his last duty station, home of the B-2, Whiteman Air Force Base, MO. During his Air Force career he was stationed in Virginia, Colorado, Republic of South Korea, Nebraska, and back home in Missouri. He has also been assigned temporarily to such exotic places as Holland, Florida, Mississippi, and North Carolina. During his AF career he missed 3 Tribal Feasts: 1989 while in Korea, and 1995 and 2000 due to Military commitments. Paul now works as a Sr. Systems Engineer in the Washington D.C. area and resides in Stafford, VA. Brian Hunter: Warrior Littlest Fierce Black Bear. Brian returned to Bartle for the first time in many moons in 2000 with his oldest son who attended Webelos Camp. Brian's father is Warrior Fierce Black Bear, his uncle is Warrior Small Fierce Black Bear, and his older brother is Warrior Little Fierce Black Bear, all Hardway Warriors. In the not too distant future, Brian hopes both of his boys will also become Hardway Warriors continuing the family tradition and honor of being members of Mic-O-Say. It was with Troop 469 out of Raytown, MO that Brian became a Hardway Warrior. Keith L. Huntley: Warrior Son of Little Wondering Many Moons. Keith became a Brave during 5th session of 1996 at Bartle. He advanced to the rank of Warrior during 5th session of 1997. He is a Life Scout in Troop 202 in Independence, Mo., and has only 1 merit badge remaining for Eagle. Keith has served as Troop Guide, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Patrol Leader. He is a Freshman at Truman High School in Independence. He is on the JV Wrestling Team and took second in conference his first year. Keith enjoys Scouts, Camping, Mic-O-Say, bass and fly fishing, and restoring his 1957 Chevy Pickup with his dad. They are presently dropping a complete 1987 Corvette drive train and suspension under the '57.
Steve Lewis: Warrior Fast Moving Walking Stick. As a member of Scout Troop 324 in Richmond, MO, Steve earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1978 and became a Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say in 1980. He camped at Osceola from 1976 to 1981. He enlisted in the United States Navy in June, 1982 and attended boot camp in San Diego, CA. Upon graduation, he attended various Naval schools and was assigned to USS Queenfish (SSN 651), a nuclear powered submarine home ported in Pearl Harbor, HI. In December, 1990 he was selected for the Enlisted Commissioning Program (ECP) and attended the Naval Science Institute in Newport, RI the following summer. He and his wife then reported to Reserve Officer Training Center (ROTC), Oregon State University Corvallis, OR, where he graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Business (Management Information Systems) and was commissioned as an Ensign 1610 (Cryptology). In 1997 he reported to the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California and graduated in 1999 with a Masters of Computer Science. In 2004, he retired from the United States Navy Steve with over 22 years of honorable service to his country. Steve is currently a scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Tri-cities Washington. Although he is far from home, he remembers the summers at the H. Dustin Love: Warrior Son of Burns Bed in Lodge. Dustin is a student at Graceland College in Lamoni, IA where he is on a football and vocal music scholarship. Dustin was inducted into the Tribe in 1994 at Sawmill. He then went on staff in 1996 and was advanced to Warrior while working in the R.H.Q. Mark Mangels: Warrior Strong Standing Elk. Mark became a Brave in the Tribe during 3rd session in 1973. He earned the rank of Warrior in 1974. Nelson Muller: Warrior Son of Bold Eagle of Happy Rock. Nelson became a Brave during second session in 1997. He attained the rank of Warrior in 1998. He has camped at Bartle for five years, all at Camp Piercing Arrow. He plans to return to Piercing Arrow again next summer. He recently joined the Mic-O-Say Dancers. Nelson is a member of Troop 271 out of Kansas City, MO. He passed his Eagle Board of Review on September 28, 1997. He is a Sophomore at Oak Park High School.
John Robin Otiker: Warrior Towering Stubborn Oak. John became a Brave in 1966 and a mighty Warrior in 1967. He became an Eagle Scout the year after in 1968. He was a member of Troop 374 in Liberty, MO. His career goals were formed as he laid on the lawn of his back yard and watched the birds and planes fly overhead and wanted to live there. Since that dream first formed, it has become a reality and a love for 35 years. In 1971 John attained his Private Pilots License and by 1972 he was performing as a Certified Flight Instructor. Since that time he has pitched his teepee literally all over the world, including 2 years in Saudi Arabia, 4 more years back in Kansas City, 6 months in St Louis, 6 months in Tucson, 3 months in Oakland, CA., another year back in Saudi Arabia, and finally Dallas, Texas. He is a Captain for Southwest Airlines with 4 years of Management Experience for their Flight Operations Department. There he was responsible for Change Management issues and Leadership Development. John is no longer in management as he and his wife are actively raising triplets! John has spent the last 6 years focusing his attention on his daughter and her camping experiences through Little Princess program and has now moved to Boy Scouts again with the two sons who turned 11 several months ago. Mark A. Perkins: Warrior Flaming War Hawk. Mark camped at the Bartle Scout Reservation four summers. He became a Brave in 1974 and was elevated to the rank of a mighty Warrior in 1975. He attained the Eagle rank the same year. He has attended Philmont Scout Ranch and has canoed the lakes of Minnesota. Mark was active with Troop 412 from Smithville, MO until he graduated from high school. He went on to serve 5 years in the U.S. Airforce. Mark W. Quinlin: Warrior Grandson of Slow Waddling Turtle. Mark became a Brave in 1998 and earned his Warrior and Eagle the next year at H. Roe Bartle scout reservation. He is part of Troop 30 which resides in Kansas City, MO. After completing high school in 2003, Mark joined the Marine Corps and went to boot camp in San Diego, CA. He then went to his first duty station in Okinawa, Japan working in military corrections. He left Okinawa in Jan. of 2005 and is currently serving in Camp Lejeune, NC. Scott Ricketson: Warrior Spirit of the North Star. Scott camped at Camp Frontier, Fort Collins from 1978-1982 with Blue Springs, MO Troop 603. He was called Brave in 1981 and Warrior in 1982. He also received his Life Scout in 1982. Currently, he is a Senior Programmer Analyst/Project Leader at American Identity. He is married with seven children. His oldest three boys completed their second session at Camp Piercing Arrow last summer during 5th session, at which time his 15 year old, Nate, was called for Foxman (he can't wait for camp!). Scott started a new Troop (Troop 326) in Grain Valley, MO in April and is currently serving as Scoutmaster. They will be Camping in Piercing Arrow, Fort Dodge during 4th session this summer. Hal Shaffer: Warrior Bright Flamming Rock. Hal spent four years at Osceola from aproximately 1958 through 1961. In 1961, he made Eagle in Raytown, MO Troop 145 under the leadership of Scoutmaster Dub Hobbs. He is a lifetime member of the NESA. Hal was in Troop 145 and transfered later to a post in KCMO. He spent four years in the Navy during 1962 thru 1966 . He has lived in the beach area of L.A., CA since 1966. He retired from GTE in 1993 on a early out at 49 yrs old. He married Noreen in 1970 and has no children.
Hal has earned the Commisioners Key, Scout Masters Key, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver award. He attended Wood Badge in 1973. He served as Commisioner from 1967 to 1973, Scout Master 1973 to 1991, and has been a member since that time. He has also been a Troop Leader Development Scoutmaster, Philmont Trek Leader, Somners Trek Leader, National Jamboree Scout Master, World Jamboree Scout Master, National Jamboree Staff member, and member of the Circle X Ranch Board (L.A. Area Council). Currently, Hal is setting up a Mountain Bike Program For LAAC summer camp at Lake Arrow Head, California. He will spend the summer at camp. He's presently scheduled to attend National camp school to be certified for COPE. Over the years, Hal has tried to live up to the Mic-O-Say traditions. He is also a member of OA. Mike Stanclift: Warrior Blue Eyed Silver Hawk. Mike became a Brave in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say during 4th session of 1999, and advanced to Warrior in the Tribe during 4th session of 2000. He been to Bartle five times, all five of which he has camped at Sawmill in campsites Hickory and, most recently, in Hawthorn during the 2000 season. He is the first in his family to advance into Mic-O-Say and hopes that his brother will join the Tribe in a few years as well. Mike was born November 9, 1983. He is a Life Scout with Troop 55 in Lawrence, KS where he is a junior at Lawrence Free State High School. Mike is the former Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 55 and currently holds the position of Leadership Instructor. He is a Brotherhood memeber in the Order of the Arrow and serves as Linchen Chapter #2 Chief in Tamegonit Lodge. He plays saxophone in marching band and is the baritone saxphone player in the top jazz band at Free State. Pat Stone: Warrior Loud Screeching Falcon. Pat became a Brave during first session of 1997 in Piercing Arrow. He achieved the rank of a mighty Warrior during second session of 1998. His Blood Brothers are Scott Regan: Warrior Eagle that Soars with Old Screeching Buzzard and Kevin Frantze: Warrior Silver Blue River Reflecting Falling Stars. He is a Life Scout in Troop 601 out of Kansas City, MO. Pat is a 15-year-old who enjoys the guitar, drums, webpage making, football, and basketball.
Matthew Uppman: Warrior Loud StarGazing Creature. Matthew became a Brave 2nd session in 2005 and was elevated to the rank of Warrior 6th session of 2006. He is an Eagle Scout of Troop 531 in Grandview, MO where he serves as the Troop Guide and is a very active Den Chief. During the summer he is a veteran Thunderbird Daycamp staff member and also is the Ultimate Worship Week camp director for his church. Next Year he is looking into working staff at Camp PA. Ross Wangler: Warrior Loud Laughing Thundercloud. Ross entered the Tribe as a Brave 4th session of 1992 at Camp Piercing Arrow. He continued his trail the following summer and became a mighty Warrior during third session. He was active in Troop 428 out of Kansas City, MO, where he made it to the rank of Life. Ross has not visited the reservation since 1993. He is currently a customer order assistant for Mazama Inc. Keenan Wood: Warrior Proud Son of Tiger Who Walks Big Steps. Keenan is a 1992 Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 332, out of Blue Springs, MO. He became a Warrior at the 1994 third Session Camp when "Jimmy" Bartle Taylor, the daughter of the late H. Roe Bartle was named Honored Woman Lone Bear Princess at his Warrior Ceremony. His hobbies are weight-lifting, sports, and computers. He is a member of the Butler-Wells National Society and a Senior at Blue Springs High School. Ron Brasfield: Honorary Warrior Bald Eagle in the Mist. Ron became an Honorary Warrior at Camp Piercing Arrow in 4th Session 1998. He began Scouting with the Transatlantic Council in Weierhof, Germany, in 1987. Currently, he serves as Committee Chairman of Troop 323, First Presbyterian Church in Lee's Summit, MO. Three of Ron's sons are Tribesmen (Doug: Brave Eagle in the Mist, Christopher: Brave Screaming Eagle in the Mist, and Danny: Warrior Brother of Eagle in the Mist). Frank Carlile: Warrior Bobwhite Singing in the Oaks. Frank became an Honorary Warrior 2nd session 1983 while camping with his Troop 603 from Blue Springs MO in PA Campsite Collins. Frank moved to the Springfield, MO area in 1987 and continued as a scout leader with Troop 88 out of Marshfield, MO, which is home to Camp Arrowhead (est. 1924). Frank camped at Camp Arrowhead but also returned to Bartle with his new Troop 88 from Ozark Trails Council in 1989 through 1995. Frank has two sons, Chris and Kevin, who are both Tribesmen and Eagles. Frank has served scouting as a Webelos leader, cubmaster, scoutmaster, committee member, district camping chair, district chair and is a graduate of University of Scouting. Frank has also recieved the District award of Merit form Frontier District, Ozarks Trails Council. Note of intrest: In 2000 Ozark Trails Council adopted Mic-O-Say as its honor camper program at Camp Arrowhead under the name, "The Tribe of Lone Bear" in honor of Chief Bartle. In this tribe, Frank became a Sachem in 2000, a Keeper of the Wampum in 2002, served as Directing Tribal Council Member in 2003, 2004, and 2005 on Arrowhead Staff, and was elevated to Directing Medicine Man in 2006. Michael R. Eldred: Honorary Warrior Thundering Cannon Beside the Quiet Creek. Michael started out in Cub Scout Pack 240 and crossed over into Boy Scout Troop 7 in Springfield, MO. He recieved the Eagle rank in 1990. He became a Vigil Honor member of Osage Lodge #42 (now Wah-Sha-She Lodge) that same year, and his Vigil name is Wulamehelleu or "Gentle One". After graduating from Glendale High School, Michael decided to work toward his Bachelors and look for employment within the Boy Scouts. He attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO. While there he was very involved with the American Humanics program that was started by H. Roe Bartle. He was also active in Alpha Phi Omega, another organization Bartle was very involved with. Michael graduated from Missouri Valley at the end of 1994 with a BA degree with a double major in Human Services and Recreation Administration. He was hired by his own council as a District Executive on January 1, 1995. During the summer of 1997, he accepted a long standing offer from Troop 235 to visit his units at Bartle. He was inducted into the Tribe as an Honorary Warrior that same summer. He now knows that if he had the opportunity to join Mic-O-Say as a youth, he would be a better man today. He was recently promoted to Senior District Executive with responsibilities to the Council Advancement Committee, Internet Services, Scouting for Food, and Boy's Life promoter. There is a quote from H. Roe Bartle that he has held as his favorite for over seven years, "If you give a boy a fish, you have fed him for that day. Carl R. Grabiel: Honorary Warrior Sparkling Fox. Carl joined the Tribe during 5th session in 1995. He has been in Boy Scouting and at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, Camp Lone Star for 2 years. Before that, he worked with Cub Scouts for 5 years. He was in Cub Scouts for about a month as a boy, and got back in when his youngest joined Tiger Cubs. He is with Troop and Pack 233 from Liberty Street RLDS Church in Independence, MO. Carl is an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Troop and the Committee Chairman for the Pack. He has attended Cub Scout Wood Badge (C-CS-6) and is active in Cub Scout training at both the District (Blue Elk) and the Council level.
Lorin Howard: Honorary Warrior Bright Thundering Lightning Bolt. Lorin started camping at Bartle as a kid from 1979-1981. He became a Foxman in 1981, but his Troop lost all of its Scouts and he didn't go back to Bartle. When his son reached the age to join Scout, he then returned to Scouting and Bartle. In 1998 during 4th session in Piercing Arrow, Lorin became a Warrior. Since then he has been there for 3 years. His son, Scott Howard, became a Brave during 3rd session of 2000, and is now Brave Son of Bright Thundering Lightning Bolt. Both Lorin and his son are very active in Troop 77 in Pleasant Hill, MO. Michael D. Hughes: Honorary Warrior Lone Mourning Dove. Michael was inducted into the Tribe during 6th session in 1997. He served as Bartle Campmaster 6th session ot 1998, while camping in PA. He currently serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 6, Great Rivers Council, in Columbia, MO. In the past, he served as a Webelos Den Leader for Pack 733 in Columbia. He was in Wood Badge course C-26-98, a member of the Owl Patrol, and completed his ticket in May 2000. Michael has two sons. The youngest, Nicholas, has been to Bartle for two years. The oldest, Christopher: Brave Son of Lone Mourning Dove, is a Life Scout. Michael received a B.S. in Nursing from Central Methodist College and a Masters in Nursing from MU. He currently works as an Assistant Professor for the Dept. of Nursing Science at Lincolin University in Jefferson City, MO. Mark Kempf: Honorary Warrior Little Roaring Wild Eagle. Mark entered the Tribe as a Brave in 1974 while camping with Troop 372 in Liberty, MO. He became a Warrior during 1st Session in 1993. He is now an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 813 out of Blue Springs, MO. He is also a Den Leader in Pack 813. Mark's 3 children are all scouts, Steve (Brave Least Roaring Wild Eagle), Michael (foxman), and Kristen (a junior girl scout). He is currently employed with Sprint in Kansas City. Edward L. MacQueen: Honorary Warrior Lonewolf Who Stalks the Highland. Edward started in Cub Scouts, and received his Arrow of Light. He then entered Boy Scouts, but due to other activities he left Scouting never having gone to camp. In 1994, he joined a local Troop and went to camp for the first time, obtaining his honorary warrior. This year he returned with the Troop that he originally became a Boy Scout in, Troop 202. He served as Camp Scoutmaster at camp this year, and as an Assistant Scoutmaster in the troop. He has camped in Piercing Arrow and Lone Star, so far, and has attended one Tribal Feast. Pat Mongold: Honorary Warrior Sleek Stalking Gray Timberwolf. Pat became an Honorary Warrior at Camp Lone Star in 1999. He has been involved with Scouting since 1995 with his son. Pat is currently the Cubmaster of Pack 110, Saint Lukes United Methodist Church in Kansas City, MO. He will remain there until his nephew finishes Cub Scouts. Jim Peterson: Honorary Warrior Shieldmaker. Jim became a member of the Tribe in 1992. He has camped 6 years in Camp Sawmill. He became an Eagle Scout in 1963 when he was with Troop 27, La Plata, MO. He also earned the God and Country Award as a youth. He camped at Great Rivers Council's Camp Thunderbird for 5 years. Then he moved to Lawrence, KS in 1976. He has been the Technical Director for the University of Kansas Theatre since 1980. In 1987, Jim resumed scouting as a Den Leader in Pack 3055, Pelathe District. He currently serves as a Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner for the Pelathe District, Unit Commissioner for Pack 3055, ASM-New Scouts for Troop 55, and is a member of the Boy Scout and Cub Scout Training staff. Zane Robbins: Honorary Warrior Buffalo Cloud Dancing. Zane was inducted into the Tribe the fourth session of 1996 in Sawmill. He has been to Bartle for two years, and plans to continue camping there in the future. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 56 (Ponca City, OK) and is now Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 933 (Edmond, OK).
Michael Rogers: Honorary Warrior Pisa. Mike became an Honorary Warrior in 1986. His step-son at the time was with Troop 314 in Platte Woods, MO, where he was serving as Scoutmaster. Although it's been a few years since he has been on the reservation, he still has many fond ceremony memories. Currently, his two sons are working toward Eagle Scout, and he is on the committee of Troop 940 in Old Hickory Council, Winston-Salem, NC. Bob Simmonds: Honorary Warrior Bad Old Bear. Bob grew up a Boy Scout in the Detroit Area Council where he spent four years (1968-1971) camping at both Charles Howell Scout Reservation and D-Bar-A Scout Ranch. He served on D-Bar-A Staff in 1972. He joined Pack 860 in 1963 and Troop 1746 in 1967 where he reached the rank of Life Scout. He was also a member of Explorer Post 1746 for two years. Bob rejoined Scouting in 1990 when his oldest son joined Tiger Cubs. He is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 102 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has two sons that are Eagle Scouts in the Troop, Michael and David. Bob became an Honorary Warrior during the first session of 1996 in Sawmill. Bob was the Camp Scoutmaster for Troop 220 at Campsite Locust during first session in 1999. He has served on Sawmill Staff as a Commissioner from 2003-2005. He became a Life Member of the Dog Soldiers in 2003. He earned his Woodbadge beads in 1998. Bob is currently in the process of relocating to Orlando, FL where he is working for Disney. Tom Stephens: Honoray Warrior Memory Keeper. Tom became an Honorary Warrior in 2000 during the 4th session at Camp Lone Star. Tom is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 395, Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, and a Den Leader with Pack 444, Park Hill Christian Church both in the North Star District. Tom has worked for Video Post of Kansas City for 11 years and is currently Director of Post Production.
