Justin Ballard: Tom-Tom Beater Crafty Black Fox. Justin has been in Scouting for 6 years, since he was in sixth grade. He is currently a senior at Holden High school. He has attended Bartle for six years (5 as a camper and 1 on staff). Justin became a Brave in the Tribe during 5th session of 1995. His most recent elevation to Tom-Tom Beater occured 5th session of 1997. Last year he worked on the Sawmill ecology staff as the Reptiles and Amphibians instructor. He camped at Sawmill all the years that he's been down at Bartle and is planning to go back to work in Sawmill next summer.

Jason Boyer: Tom-Tom Beater Low Drifting Hawk. Jason is an Eagle Scout from Troop 400 in Warrensburg, MO. He is is currently both the Scoutmaster of Troop 405, and an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 400. Jason also serves as a Program Director at the Rotary Camp for disabled scouts in Lake Jacomo, MO.
Mike Cockrum: Tom-Tom Beater Wind Among the Treetops. Mike became a Brave during 5th session in 1997 while camping at Lone Star. He was elevated to the rank of Warrior during 6th session of 1998, and received his most recent elevation to Tom-Tom Beater in 2000. He has camped at the Bartle Reservation for 6 summers. Mike has been a Den Chief for various ages for the last four years. He worked on the Cub Scout Day Camp Staff for the last two years in the Big Muddy District. Ray Davis: Tom-Tom Beater Eldest Son of Counsels With Eagles. Ray became a Brave in 1988, and was the last name called. He advanced to Warrior in 1989, and his most recent elevation to Tom-Tom Beater was in 1991. He has camped 8 summers on the Bartle Reservation. He is an Eagle Scout with 3 palms. Ray has the distinction of being in the last group of Braves that came into the Tribe under Louis Chandler: Chieftain Falling Branch. He feels quite honored by this. Charles B. Dodds: Tom-Tom Beater Golden Arrow of Truth. Charles attended H. Roe Bartle beginning in 1969 with Troop 383 in Independence, MO. He attended 5 full sessions, HRB Horsemanship Staff and a few Tribal Feasts. Charles is an Eagle Scout class of 1972 (and his son is an Eagle Scout, class of 1996). All of his years at HRB as a youth were at Sawmill. He is not currently active with Scouting as his job moves him around the country (currently Dallas). John Eisele: Tom-Tom Beater Burning Firey Ember. John joined Troop 84 in the old Kansas City Area Council in 1971. He became a Brave in 1974 and Warrior in 1975. He served on the Dan Beard staff, based in Frontier in 1976. John returned to Bartle with the Troop for a couple of short stays in later years, but summer jobs intervened. Rich Fields: Tom-Tom Beater Distant Half Moon. Rich was a member of Troop 400 in Warrensburg and camped at H. Roe Bartle at Wigwam for 5 years from 1968 to 1972. Rich was a Brave of the class of 1971, Eagle Scout of class of 1972, Warrior class of 1972, and was on Mic-O-Say staff the summer of 1973 in Camp Frontier where he was awarded his paint. He has lived in Orlando the past 25 years, where - with two (now grown) daughters, no Mic-O-Say nearby, and the Florida heat/humidity/bugs/gators to discourage any camping urges, he has sadly been largely absent from Scouting except for financial contributions. Arlo V. Gatchel: Tom-Tom Beater Silent Swaying Black Oak. Arlo was called into the Tribe during the 1966 camping season from Troop 210 in Belton, MO. He received his most recent elevation to Tom-Tom Beater in 1969. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Navy and moved out of Missouri. Arlo is currently the Scoutmaster of Troop 376, Cascade Pacific Council in Portland, OR. He has retired from the Navy and lives in Milwaukie, OR, a suburb of Portland. Nathan W. Huntley: Tom-Tom Beater Little Wondering Many Moons. Nathan attended H. Roe Bartle in the late '60's through the present. He has attended 14 full sessions of camp and several Tribal Feasts including the 50th anniversary feast. Nathan is an Eagle Scout class of 1972. All of his years at HRB as a youth were at Frontier (Piercing Arrow). Now that his son is in scouts, his troop has been staying at Lone Star (Wigwam). He was a member of Troop 75 in Raytown, Mo. Nathan would like to hear from members of the troop which was 100+ in the late '60's for a possible Troop 75 reunion. He has served as Committee Chairman for Troop 202 in Independence, Mo. for the past 4 years and was Committee Chairman/Webelos Den Leader in Pack 202. He also serves on the Blue Elk District Roundtable Staff as Computer/Internet and New Technology advisor. Nathan is a Computer Network Specialist for Trans World Airlines. Timothy Hunter Mathews: Tom-Tom Beater Ever Flaming Phoenix. Timothy earned his Eagle scout in 1989 from Troop 256 in Overland Park, Kansas. He has earned the Coup of the Long Trail. While in Troop 256, he was Patrol Leader 7 times, Quartermaster twice, Senior Patrol Leader, and Assistant Scoutmaster. He has camped at Fort McHenry, and he staffed there in the summer of 1991. He is currently a Masters student at the Univestity of Missouri--Kansas City, in History. He hopes to continue his education in Slavic Studies. Timothy will either teach or enter into politics. Eric Schimmer: Tom-Tom Beater Swift Green Iguana. Eric became a Brave in the Tribe during 1st Session of 1996. He advanced to the rank of Warrior during 1st session of 1997. His most recent elevation to Tom-Tom Beater was 4th Session of 1999. He is a member of Troop 813 in Blue Springs, MO. Eric has attended the Bartle Scout Reservation since 1993. Five of those years were spent in Lone Star and two in Sawmill. He has completed all of the Eagle requirement and is now awaiting a Board of Review.
