Tom Brack: Runner Little Shadow of Red Bird. Tom is an Eagle Scout in Troop 275. He has served one year on the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation Camp Staff.
Gerry Cahill: Runner Young Swift Wild Horse. Scouting has always been a family affair for Gerry's family. His father was Scoutmaster when his four brothers and he were in scouts. He and three of his brothers reached Eagle with the other falling just short. Gerry has three sons and all have been in Scouts with the youngest currently working on his Eagle. Gerry started in Scouting in 1963 when he joined Pack 38 in Kansas City, MO. He joined Troop 38 in 1966 and remained with the Troop until it disbanded in 1977. He joined Pack 763 in Blue Springs along with his oldest son in 1986 and has served in various capacities with both the Pack and Troop 763, as well as a short time with Troop 306. His father joined the Tribe in 1963 eventually reaching Sachem. Gerry's two oldest brothers joined the Tribe in 1965 and reached Runner. The next brother joined in 1967 and is a Firebuilder. Gerry joined in 1969 and is also a Runner. The youngest brother joined in 1971 and is a Tom-Tom Beater. Gerry's three sons are all in the Tribe with the oldest being Warrior, the next being a Tom-Tom Beater, and the youngest becomming a Warrior in 1999. Phillip Davis: Runner Son of Counsels With Eagles. Phil became a Brave in 1994, and was the first name called. He became a Warrior during Staff Week in 1995, and his most recent elevation to Runner was 5th session 1996. He is a Life Scout. Phil has spent 6 years at Bartle, and in 1995 was on the kitchen staff in Sawmill. His brothers, Ray & Joe, are also in the Tribe and his father is a Sachem. Randy Denney: Runner Distant Perched Cardinal. Randy attended the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation for four years as a scout from 1958-61. He worked one year on camp staff during the summer of 1962 where he worked in the Trading Post. He became a Runner in the Tribe in 1962. Having one daughter and no sons, he has not been active in Scouting

Patrick Dennis: Runner Little Watchful Buffalo. Patrick first attended the Bartle Scout Reservation in 1961 with Troop 54, sponsored by St. James Catholic Church. His father became an Honorary Warrior that summer. His uncle, William Dennis, was already a Sachem at the time. Patrick served on staff in 1963 and became a Foxman. Continuing on staff, he entered the tribe as a Brave in 1964 and became a Warrior in 1965. He returned to camp with his troop after that and was last elevated to Runner. Patrick became an Eagle Scout in 1965. His family transferred to the Detroit area and Patrick remained active in Scouting until joining the Coast Guard. Dick Doutt: Runner Stalking Yellow Wolf. Dick joined Scouts in 1960 with Troop 201 in Independence, MO. He became both a Brave and an Eagle Scout in 1963. In 1966, Dick served on the camp staff and became a Runner. He was out of Scouting for some time, but rejoined in 1987 when he moved back to the Kansas City area. Since then, he has been on two trips to Philmont in 1993 and 1995. He served as the Assistant Scoutmaster for Eagle Advancement for Troop 412 in Olathe, KS. In 2000, he moved to Colorado and thought he was out of Scouting. However, he was asked to start a Troop in Parker, CO in 2003. This troop now has 19 scouts and Dick is the Scoutmaster. Daniel J. Haus: Runner Lone Soaring Silver Falcon. Daniel first attended Bartle as a camper in 1972 at Camp Frontier as a member of Troop 339 from Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base. He served as a junior staff member at the Camp Sawmill pool in 1974, 1975 and 1976. Daniel was inducted into the Tribe as a Brave first session in 1974 and elevated to Warrior first session 1975. His most recent elevation to Runner was fourth session in 1976. Daniel graduated from CMSU in 1982 and served as a police officer in Belton, MO for ten years. He graduated from the UMKC School of Law in 1996 and is currently
Associate General Counsel for the Kansas City, MO Police Department. Daniel was away from scouting for many years, but his desire to serve scouting was rekindled in 2000 after attending a 1975 Sawmill staff reunion. He is currently active as a troop committee member for Troop 865 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Independence, MO and has made the trip to camp every summer since. Glen Hoerman: Runner Silent Killing Cougar. Glen started out in Cub Scouts with Pack 865 in Independence, MO where he went on to receive his Arrow of Light. He joined Troop 865 in March of 1984 and stayed with them unill 1989. He then joined Independence, MO Varsity Team 721 were he earned his Eagle Scout in 1990. In 1991 the the Team folded. After sharing a campsite with Independence, MO Troop 334 that year, he joined the Troop as a leader. In 1995 Glen switched over to Troop 202 (yes, also in Independence) where he is still an active member and Assistant Scoutmaster. Glen started going to Bartle in 1984. His first four years were in Lone Star, then one year in Sawmill, eight years in Frontier/Piercing Arrow, and then back to Lone Star in 1996. He became a Brave in the Tribe in 1989. D.J. Hurt: Runner Son of Silent Straight Arrow. D.J. became a Brave in 1996, a mighty Warrior in 1997, and received his most recent elevation to Runner in 2000. He is an Eagle Scout with two palms. He has camped at Lone Star for seven years, starting in 1994. He started out in Tiger Cubs, then continued into Cub Scouts with Pack 441. He progressed all the way through Cub Scouting and earned the Arrow of Light. D.J. then crossed over into Boy Scouts with Troop 261, in Parkville, MO. He is a Brotherhood Member in the Order of the Arrow. He plans to stay active in his Troop and continue camping at Bartle. David Simmonds: Runner Second Son of Bad Old Bear. David started his Scouting career in Pack 868 in Westland, MI in 1993. He transferred to Pack 220 in Lee's Summit, MO in 1995 where he earned his Arrow of Light. David became an Eagle Scout in Troop 220 in 2001. He has camped in Sawmill for 5 years starting in 1998. He became a Brave during 2nd session in 2001 and became a might Warrior 3rd session of 2002. He became a Firebuilder and Tom Tom Beater in 2003 while on Staff and was elevated to Runner 3rd session of 2004 while serving on the Sawmill Pool Staff. David is serving his third year on Staff in Sawmill at C.O.P.E. this year where he hopes to be elevated to KSB. Michael Simmonds: Runnner First Son of Bad Old Bear. Michael joined Boy Scouts as a Tiger Cub in 1990 with Pack 868 in Westland, Michigan. He transferred to Pack 220 in Lee's Summit, MO in 1995 where he earned his Arrow of Light. He is currently an Eagle Scout with 5 palms in Troop 220 and has camped at Sawmill for five years starting 1st session in 1996. Michael became a Brave in 1998. He earned the Coup of the Long Trail at the Candian Boundry Waters in the summer of 1998. He became a Warrior during 1st session 1999 in Sawmill. Michael worked as a CIT during 5th session 1999 in Lone Star. He served on staff in Sawmill in 2000 and Lone Star in 2001. He was elevated to Firebuilder during the 1st session of 2000, to Tom-Tom Beater 3rd session of 2002 and Runner 3rd session in 2003. Shane Snider: Runner Frolicking White Boar. Sean lived in Illinois until he moved to Missouri in 1993. His first year at Bartle was in 1994 when he became a Foxman. He was on Piercing Arrow Staff in 1996 and served as Assistant Ecology Director. He returned to Bartle staff again in 1997 when he received elevations to Tom-Tom Beater and then Runner. In August 1995, Shane received his Eagle with Troop 113 of Hermitage, Missouri. Then, four days before his 18th birthday he received an Eagle Palm. He is currently a Sophmore at MU in Columbia and is a Science Education major. Shane serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 113, and he has also signed on with Troop 704 in Columbia. Sean Stewart: Runner Challenging Silver-tipped Grizzly Bear. Sean became a Brave during 5th session of 1998 at Piercing Arrow. He was elevated to the rank of a mighty Warrior in 1999 at Piercing Arrow. His most recent elevation to Runner was during 6th session in 2002. He has camped in Piercing Arrow for his eight years at camp. Sean began his Scouting career as a Tiger Cub and is an Eagle Scout. He has completed Junior Leader Training, and has served in such positions as Senior Patrol Leader and Webelos Den Chief. Sean is 20 years old and is attending Washington and Lee University in Virginia. He serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 269 in Raytown, MO when he is able. He also participates with the Scouting units around his college campus. His father, Ralph Stewart: Warrior Challenging Grey Hawk, became a Brave in 1966 at Camp Sawmill. Pat Trader: Runner Little Flaming Phoenix. Pat became a Brave in the Tribe in 1973. At that time he was in Troop 269 out of Raytown, MO. He usually stayed in Sawmill in Campsite Sycamore. He became an Eagle Scout in 1975 and has a bronze palm. He was lucky enough to go to Philmont in both 1973 and 1977. It was in 1977 that he received his most recent elevation to Runner. The next summer Pat started school at the University of Missouri. While at the University of Missouri, he received a BA and MA in Anthropology with an emphasis in archaeology. He served as the State Archaeologist in West Virginia from 1993 to 1999 and now works for a private consulting firm based in Charleston, West Virginia. Pat in an avid Scouter and served as his son's Cubmaster for four years until his sons crossed over to Boy Scouts, at which time he became an Assistant Scoutmaster. Nathan Warson: Runner Scorpion Under Rock of Fire. Nathan became a Brave in 1992 and a Warrior in 1994. He received his most recent elevation to Runner in 1996. He camped in Camp Frontier (Piercing Arrow) 1989-1997. He served on the Piercing Arrow Staff in 1995 and 1996 as a Scoutcraft instructer and Scoutcraft Counselor, respectively. Nathan earned his Eagle in 1994. He is still very active in Troop 11 out of Jefferson City, MO.
