Steven Bellah: Brave Strong Thunderous Wind in the Sky. Steven was born on July 14, 1982. He was inducted into the Tribe as a Brave in 1997. He has camped in Camp Lone Star, Campsite Pawnee all four summers he has attended Bartle. This year he will again camp in Lone Star during 2nd session, but will be in campsite Mohican. Steven is currently a Life scout in Troop 426 out of Kansas City, MO. He serves as one of the Troop's Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders. He needs only his Eagle service project and one merit badge before he will be ready for an Eagle Board of Review. Anthony Branson: Brave Smoking Red Glowing Fire. Anthony became a Brave of Mic-O-Say during 6th Session of 1999. His Tribal Name has been passed on for three generations. Anthony was born Dec 17, 1984. He is a Life Scout with Troop 415 in Higginsville, MO. He has just completed his Eagle Scout project at the Confederate Memorial Historic Site in Higginsville. There he painted fences, trimmed rose bushes, and removed mulberry trees from the cedar trees. A total of 35 hours of hard work went into the project. Doug Brasfield: Brave Eagle in the Mist. Doug was inducted into the Tribe as a Brave in 1996 at Camp Piercing Arrow. He became an Eagle Scout in 1997. Doug is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 323, First Presbyterian Church in Lee's Summit, MO. He began his Scouting career in Germany. Mike Cunningham: Brave Swift Soaring Golden Arrow. Mike became a member of the Tribe in the late 1960's. He camped at Frontier throughout the late 1960's and early 1970's. He was a member of Troop 169 out of Independence, MO where he achieved the rank of Life. Currently, Mike serves as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 5 in Fort Devens, MA.
Lucas M. Landau: Brave Swift Moving Jaguar. Lucas was born on June 12, 1983. He
was inducted into the Tribe as a Brave 5th session 1997. He lives in Kirksville, Missouri where he attends Kirksville High School. He is active on his school's wrestling and soccer teams. Lucas has been to Bartle for two sessions. He camped in Lone Star at Lakota his 1st year and Sawmill at Locust his 2nd. Lucas's grandpa is in the Tribe, Ray Rodick: Warrior Little Brown Bark. His grandpa became a Brave in 1938, and his tribal registration number is 837! Lucas recently returned from his 1st Tribal Feast, and he has hopes of becoming a Warrior this summer. W. Hersch Norman: Brave Gazing Firefly. Hersch became a Brave of the Tribe during the 1st session of 1997. He camped two years in Lone Star and three years in Sawmill. He was a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. Hersch was an active member of Troop 412 in Smithville, MO. He held many leadership positions within his Troop, including that of Senior Patrol Leader. He was a Life Scout and a sophomore at Smithville High School. Sean Riordan: Brave Silent Searching Moon. Sean became a Brave in 1998. He is a 15-year-old Life Scout nearing the rank of Eagle. He is currently the Troop Librarian and is planning to run for Senior Patrol Leader in the fall. Sean is also considering serving on staff at Bartle next summer. Mike Robbins: Brave White Stalking Wolf. Mike entered the Tribe the 4th session of 1996. He has been in several Packs and Troops due to moving around a lot. He started out in Scouting as a Tiger Cub. He is now a Life Scout and is again in between troops. Mike has camped four summers at our beloved Bartle Reservation. His first year was at Lone Star and the rest have been at Sawmill.
Anthony Spurgeon: Brave Lone Standing Black Ponya. Anthony is a Life Scout in Troop 300 based in Pleasant Hill, MO. He is 14 years old and has 34 merit badges. He became an Eagle Scout in April 1997. His e-mail address is Eagle3033@aol.com
Ben Stueve: Brave Free Spirit of the Four Winds. Ben is a member of Troop 84 in Kansas City, MO. He is attending camp first session this summer at Camp Lone Star, when he has hopes of becoming a Warrior. Ben is 15 years old, and a freshman at Rockhurst High School where he plays football and is on the track team. Brad Welch: Brave Swift Coachwhip. Brad became a Brave in the Tribe during the 1st session of 1997. He camped two years in Lone Star and two years in Sawmill. He was a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow. Brad was an active member of Troop 412 in Smithville, MO. He held many leadership positions within his Troop, including that of Senior Patrol Leader. He was a Life Scout and a Freshman at Smithville High School. On October 21, 1997, Brad died tragically at the age of 14. He will be sorely missed, and will live on in our hearts forever.
John Whitteck: Brave Cunning Fox who Hunts the Deep Forest. John became a Brave 5th session in 1997. He is a member of Troop 202 out of Independence, MO. John is a Freshman at Truman High School. He began Scouting as a Tiger Cub. John attended Bartle two years as a Webelos and four years as a Boy Scout. Three of his Boy Scout years were in Lone Star and the other was in Sawmill. His wishes for the future are to get the most he can out of the Tribe and help those younger than him in scouting.
Mike Woodworth: Brave Little Glowing Timber. Mike became a Brave of the Tribe in 1965. He attended camp at both Sawmill and Frontier. He was amember of Pack 124 and Troop 426 out of Kansas City, Missouri. Mike becamean Eagle Scout in 1966. He served 10 years in the U.S. Navy before attending San Diego State University where he received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Mike has also received his Professional Engineering Registration and is a Certified Plant Engineer. He is a member of the Eagle Scout Alumni Association. Mike returned to Scouting in 1990 as a Bear Den Leader and subsequently has earned the Webelos Den Leader Training Award, the Scouters Training Award, Commissioner's Arrowhead and his Wood Badge Beads. He presently serves as the District Commissioner for Mission District in the Desert Pacific Council, San Diego, CA. Tony Woolsey: Brave Lone Wolf Howling under the Moon. Tony became a Brave 4th session in 2000. He plans to return to camp next summer and hopes to earn the rank of a mighty Warrior. He is a member of Troop 813 in Blue Springs, MO. In his free time, he enjoys playing football and is in little league wrestling.
