Recent Updates

16 Aug 2001 - although I haven't posted here recently, I've still been supporting the underlying databases. Sorry for the missing data this past week, I had to migrate the data to a new server. The main file is now back online. The HB one probably won't be ... I may incorpoate it into the main file though. The HB data is now resident in a SQL database to allow family members to update their info online. Still in testing ... probably about six months before fully functional for public consumption.

17 Sep 2000 - ok ... I've finally begun to update parts of the site. The genealogy files have been updated a few times over the last year ... now over 50,000 in the primary file. As I revamp the site you'll see some dynamic information being displayed (generated from databases). . check out how I've structured the obituary section. More to come ... hopefully sooner rather than later.

24 Apr 1999 - ok ... I'm a little remiss in posting, moved my domains to a new server farm and lost a hard drive. Very little data was lost with the failure. The final Lydia Colby lines have been linked into the chart and will appear with my next database update sometime in the next couple of weeks. Current count is 37,000+ in the main database, ready for upload.
I've received a few emails with a couple of lines -- one Canadian, one Ohio, and one Kansas. Checking my on and offline data to see if they can be placed prior to the upload. (not to mention other pieces I've collected and haven't fit into place yet.)
I've also received a couple of suggestions for improving this site ... making it a little interactive ... maybe I'll find time over the next few months to implement some of them. In the meantime ... I'd recommend the GenForum site for Dodds discussion threads.
